Teaming up for Character

During the tournament, Kansas City area youth have the opportunity to visit with the participating NAIA student-athletes to learn more about their universities, athletes’ academic interests and the role of the student-athlete. They participate in an NAIA Champions of Character educational discussion about the five core character values and attend the championship basketball games.

Students who participate in the Champions of Character initiative, walk away with the understanding of how the values can assist them on the field of athletic competition and in life.
