For your generosity and service, the NAIA provides volunteers with • Free admission, with volunteer credential, into any tournament session • One complimentary NAIA tournament shirts to be worn during your work sessions • One complimentary meal before or after each work session as designated by the NAIA • One voucher book containing 18 general admission ticket vouchers • One all-tournament parking pass |
Volunteer opportunties include:
Tip-Off Banquet
(Tuesday March 17) - Provide check-in and directional assistance for those attending the Tip-Off Banquet
General Volunteer
Able to assist where ever help is needed
Tournament Information Booth
Check-in volunteers and provide information for fans
Program Sales
Sell programs to fans before, during, and after games
National Anthem Singer
Perform, on court, at the beginning of each session
(Please note the Session 2 performance will be during the Parade of Champions)
Hospitality Rooms
Check credentials and meal tickets at the door and straighten up the room
Media Runner
Deliver statistics to teams and media at halftime and following games
Locker Room Attendant
Provide access for teams into locker rooms and replenish towels
Court Monitor
Monitor photographers, cheerleaders, and ball chasers to ensure they remain in designated areas
Court Crew Member
Assist with on-court promotions and engage fans with giveaways and contests (minimum age is 14)
Ball Chaser
Sit courtside each game, collect basketballs during warm-ups, sweep the floor and help the referees (minimum age is 10)
Concourse
Supervise activities to guarantee a safe environment
Mascot Appearances
Pump up the crowd during the game. Local mascots are encouraged to participate anytime, but Wedneday, Thursday and Saturday are high priorities.
